Historic home roof/gutter issue

By | December 3, 2019

Just recently moved into a ~95 year old home with a detached carriage house. It only has gutters on the back of the building; the front corners and where the dormers meet at the front center have nothing and I’m having water issues. The center part has water running right over the carriage light and it is also rotting out the wooden door. The corners are splashing up on the brick and puddling. This door has been replaced before for the same reason, but I guess the previous owners didn’t care enough to do anything or didn’t know what to do.

What can I do about these spots? It is a historic home, so I am limited in what I can do visually on the exterior.
